Pharm.D. from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University Of Paris, France. B.Sc.Chemical Engineering, Montana, USA. Experience in both pharmaceutical industry (France, Canada) and community pharmacies in the Ottawa area. Lecturer for several pharmaceutical companies. Council member then President of the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP), the registering and regulating body for the profession of pharmacy. It was that time that Ontario became the first jurisdiction in North America to pass a legislation to ban the sale of tobacco products in pharmacies. Involved at the outset of PROJECT 4000 launched over 40 years ago by then Ottawa Mayor M.Dewar to bring 4000 South East Asian refugees to Ottawa.
